New Museum of National History

The transformation of the main library building, Møllegade 1, into the new Museum of Natural History of Aarhus.

The new Museum of Natural History has a desire to extend the size and amount of the exhibition space such that the overall brutto area of the Museum is somewhere between 5.500 - 6000 m2.

A Museum of this size requires an extension the existing building by 2.500 m2. The director of the museum has addressed the possibility of placing the extension on top of the existing building to attract even more attention.
